This is just a tip that I saw and wanted to pass it on .. The next time you buy an appliance, make sure it's an Energy Star-approved model. In 2006, Energy Star appliances saved $14 billion on utility bills and cut emissions equivalent to 25 million cars!!

Rewritable CDs, DVDs and flash drives are used to reduce paper and allow repeated reuse. They also reduce the need for additional storage space that paper documents require.
** Sometimes we don't think of these things .. So, I just wanted to post this as a reminder ** Hopefully, we are all using these!! We can clean up our office's from all the paper too!!

That is good to know! I have a costco right down the street. Do they charge anything for this service?

Hey guys ... Use Costco for your 'peace of mind' on used batteries ...
Return your old car / boat / or recreational vehicle batteries to Costco ... They will accept the return of your used batteries. Doing this will give you peace of mind of knowing it will be properly recycled and used in the manufacture of 'new' batteries!!!
