I should have checked in

| Shawna | Apr 3rd, 2008

I should have checked in here before I went to the grocery store today... I would have looked for that. I wonder how well it will sell because so many green products are overlooked at the stores sometimes they stop making them. :(

Keep your COFFE MAKER clean!!

| ajbegreen | Apr 2nd, 2008

I have a really neat tip on cleaning your Coffee Maker!!! I think you guys will enjoy this one!!! I came across it in a little newsletter and it works great!!
When the Coffee Maker is empty ... pour in a mixture of 1 cup of White Vinegar and some hot water to fill up the reservoir to the top. Run the Coffee Maker as if you were making a pot of coffee, but without the grounds, of course ... Once the cycle has finished, run it twice more with just plain water, which will rinse out the vinegar and build-up left inside. Your coffee will taste better the next time you make a cuppa Joe!!! Guaranteed ... :-)
Let's pass our cleaning hints out so, we can all benefit from them and make our planet earth a 'better' place to live!!!

Microwave cleaning

| Shawna | Apr 2nd, 2008

Really, the baking soda works that well? Cool... I'm going to try that today. If inexpensive stuff like baking soda works so well why do people use the smelly and expensive chemical kind??

Microwave cleaning ...

| ajbegreen | Apr 2nd, 2008

I think it's all they are used to ... So much advertising for the cleaning agents too!! The more that is talked about and USED within households with the natural SAFE items ... the more all will realize that they have been bringing A LOT of chemicals in their house and around themselves and their family and will switch to safer cleaning agents!!

I hope so, that would be so

| Shawna | Apr 2nd, 2008

I hope so, that would be so nice... so I tried the microwave and it worked - it's all clean and it doesn't have any food odor in there anymore either! :)

Glad you tried it ...

| ajbegreen | Apr 2nd, 2008

It is a GREAT cleaning agent for your micro at any time!! Easy and the safest ... And too, you will always have Baking Soda on hand!! *Happy Cleaning*

Baking Soda is great ... for your Microwave to be clean ...

| ajbegreen | Apr 2nd, 2008

Microwaves ... Mix 1/2 cup of water with a few teaspoons of Baking Soda in a microwave safe bowl. Put the bowl in the microwave and run it for 2 minutes. Take out the bowl and wipe it clean with just a rag; every last spot will come out!!!! This is fabulous!!

Clean your REFRIGERATOR the natural way!!!

| ajbegreen | Apr 2nd, 2008

I am not 'totally' sure for your oven ... But I love how this works!!! For your refrigerator ... you must use Baking Soda!!! Why would someone want to spray chemicals in the giant box that holds our food?? Make a nice PASTE from Baking Soda and Water (equal parts of both) and scrub away!!! Wipe it down with a clean cloth and all will be clean!!! It is fantastic ...
