This is just a tip that I saw and wanted to pass it on .. The next time you buy an appliance, make sure it's an Energy Star-approved model. In 2006, Energy Star appliances saved $14 billion on utility bills and cut emissions equivalent to 25 million cars!!

Rewritable CDs, DVDs and flash drives are used to reduce paper and allow repeated reuse. They also reduce the need for additional storage space that paper documents require.
** Sometimes we don't think of these things .. So, I just wanted to post this as a reminder ** Hopefully, we are all using these!! We can clean up our office's from all the paper too!!

I am looking for ventilator for my attic ... I came across this one for $370. ... It sounds like a good one to get ... I know one other person who has this - Wondering if anyone else has looked into these!!??

Hey guys ... Use Costco for your 'peace of mind' on used batteries ...
Return your old car / boat / or recreational vehicle batteries to Costco ... They will accept the return of your used batteries. Doing this will give you peace of mind of knowing it will be properly recycled and used in the manufacture of 'new' batteries!!!

I am totally looking into this one when I go shop for my new printer/copier/scanner ... time to upgrade!! :-)

I just bought this copy/scan/printer last week and I'm so impressed that they have a printer cartridge return program that will recycle for me... I wonder how many other companies do this?
