Rowan Green Awards...

Rowan University has been dedicated to the Green Effort for a since 2006. In that time we have won a couple of awards:

US EPA Environmental Quality Award (3rd place) for nationwide Recyclemania 2006

NJ Department of Environmental Protection Governor’s Environmental Excellence Award- for “Clean Air Initiatives”

US EPA Green Power Partnership Award- for purchasing 25% of electricity used on campus

NJ Board of Public Utilities: 2007 New Jersey Clean Energy School of the Year Award

That is only the start of all of the awards Rowan University will earn. The awards are nice, but the real benefit is our contribution.
