Relocating Your Home to New Ground
Moving Your Home Can Be A Green Choice
There are two main reasons you might move a house; I mean literally move a house. One, you love your house, but hate your land. If you think you've found greener pastures elsewhere, or are looking for land you love, but can't abide giving up your home, than moving your home to new land may be a choice.
Two, you hate your house, but love your land. If you super love the land you've got, but the house is well, less adored. You can sell your home to someone willing to move it to their own plot.
Why would you ever move a house? Relocating your home can actually be a much greener choice than building a new green house, or doing major remodels. If your house could use some greening up, but it's not that bad, building new is a much larger waste of materials, takes more time (often), and costs more (depending on where you move your home.
You could always buy another home on land you like, but if you have to complete major remodels, again costs and materials come into play.
Moving your home is a nice way to get continued use out of a home you love. It's also a great way to save a house you hate from being demolished - which drains resources. Someone else may think your house is perfect for their needs.
Now, moving a house can’t always be done. It can also cost a lot depending on your specific variables.
