Now it's time to spread the word....

Well now that the site is up, it's time to spread the word.  I'm going to be telling lots of folks in the coming days about RiverWired - the site will only be as good as the community we have.

I'm not a green expert myself - but I do want to find ways to reduce my footprint, as it were.  Ideas out there that are working for you?

Also, while I'm confident we're experiencing global warming, there seems to be some increasing evidence that there are natural (and likely) unstoppable causes for this - that in fact, the changes/cycles in the sun itself may be mostly to blame.  But we still have the problem.  I'm interested in how we can literally "vacuum" carbon out of the atmosphere. 

Richard Branson of Virgin fame has offered a $25 million prize to someone who can find an effective way to remove a billion tons of carbon from the atmosphere every year.  (http://preview.tinyurl.com/28cakk).
