Sustainable Ideas...

On April 16th Rowan University is partnering with National Wellness Institute to host GREEN FEST from 11am to 2pm. The focus will be on sustainability, social justice, global warming, and other similar issues. The entertainment will be the movie “The Eleventh Hour.”

After a brief conversation with the head of the RU Green Program, John Imperatore, it sounds like there is much more going on in the Rowan community, about turning green, than the website lets on. Graduate and Undergraduate students of different majors collaborate on the many ways to be better to earth. I look forward to talking with him, and I will be sure to report on our discussion.
